NWUA has been successful in securing funding from HEFCE to deliver a linked set of actions to support the engagement of the Higher Education sector with the regional response to the economic downturn. Universities UK report: Making an Economic Impact (2010) Universities UK published the report ‘Making an Economic Impact: Higher Education and the English Regions’ on the 15th June to coincide with Universities Week. Shared Interest: Collaboration between museums, visual arts organisations and universities in England’s North West.

Shared Interest Edited Report Shared Interest is the result of a collaborative project between North West Universities Association, Renaissance North West and Arts Council England, North West. The project aims to encourage greater collaboration between museums, visual arts organisations and universities in the region. The report demonstrates how these sectors can achieve more by working together. It is based on research commissioned from Abigail Gilmore and Jane Dawson. The research set out to identify compelling regional examples of collaboration and the key features of successful partnerships.

Enhancing Higher Level Sport Volunteering & Coaching Skills
