Energy and Environmental Technologies

Sector Information

The Energy and Environmental Technologies sector of the HLSP is supporting the development of eight courses based at North West institutions. The project aims to achieve a step change in employer engagement with higher level skills in the Energy and Environmental Technologies sector. Projects involve a number of different partnership models and are developing a range of courses from Foundation Degrees to flexible CPD modules. Courses cover a variety of topics including modules on nuclear safety case, energy and fuels from waste and smart grids and smart metering.

    NWUA has produced this booklet to publicise the Energy and Environmental Technologies projects funded as part of the Higher Level Skills Partnership (HLSP). Eight courses based at North West institutions are being developed with employer and industry input.
