Marketing Group

The Marketing Group provides professional marketing expertise to the NWUA Advisory Groups: Learning and Teaching, Research, Widening Participation and Skills, Culture, Media and Sport, Enterprise, and Health and Social Care.

Membership of the group comprises representatives from each of the fourteen higher education institutions and it is chaired by Gary Wright, of the University of Salford. The group meets twice a year and reports to the NWUA Board, Executive Committee and the Strategy Groups where appropriate.

As well as providing marketing expertise to NWUA Strategy Groups, the group also aims to:

  • Share best practice and resources to benefit all higher education institutions in the North West.
  • Keep NWUA updated on institutions’ activities and initiatives, for the benefit of NWUA promotional materials etc.
  • Feed into the Regional Marketing Forum, via the Chair of the group.
